Amman, May 31: Jordan and France Friday signed two agreements for cooperation in the peaceful development of nuclear technology and political coordination on regional and international issues, according to an official statement.
AMMAN: France signed a nuclear co-operation agreement with energy-poor Jordan yesterday during a visit by French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner. The accord set the framework for peaceful nuclear co-operation between the two countries.
AMMAN: Arab stock markets stand to gain from improving geopolitics in the region, particularly the national reconciliation in Lebanon and the Israeli-Syrian peace talks, financial analysts said yesterday.
