Zahra Sultan, an Iraqi exile, has accomplished a lot in the four months since she arrived in Portland. She got her two daughters out of Jordan. She arranged medical treatment in the United States for an Iraqi boy scarred by bomb burns. She started a nonprofit to help Iraqi refugees in Amman, Jordan.
